Update: More eggs, less water, dried cherries
Date: 2019-08-29 05:59 pm (UTC)2 cups rolled oats (200 g)
1/2 cup oat flour (50 g)
1/2 tsp salt
1 1/2 tsp baking powder
1 1/4 cups unsweetened applesauce (200 g)
1/2 cup water
1/4 cup honey
2 Tbsp oil
1 Tbsp vanilla extract
2 large eggs
1/2 cup dried cherries (80 g)
I threw the extra egg in there for the protein, and I really dug the eggy flavor it gave the final product, kinda custardy, and the dried cherries went well with the honey and vanilla.
Also did I mention, you can easily eat these with your hands? They hold together remarkably well.
